ICCH Bulletin of May 24, 2026
May 24, 2026 Pentecost Sunday
Welcome Father Eckhard Today’s Readings: Acts 2:1-11 | 1 Cor 12:3b-7, 12-13 | John 20:19-23

When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim. Acts 2:1-4
On this holiday that celebrates the Holy Spirit, who unites people of all cultures and languages in God’s church, it is a cherished tradition in our community to make visible the many backgrounds that our members bring to ICCH. You will therefore hear songs and texts in a number of languages - there will be some Mass booklets at hand. You can equally follow along on your mobile device by scanning the QR-Code at the church entrance.
In addition, the preparation team suggests that whoever feels comfortable doing so might come to church in traditional clothes from their respective culture, as a visible reminder of our Christian unity in human diversity.
As you may have noticed already last week, we are currently not sending out our bulletin in the form you are used to, as we are reviewing the options for this. We ask for your understanding for the time being!
